The origin of the Tibetan singing bowl goes back in Asia as early as 5000 BC.

A bowl is made with seven metals which are related to the 7 planets.

The use of the bowls in Buddhism comes from the influence of shamanism Bon which followed the caravan routes and meets Buddhism in Tibet to give the animist and shamanistic movement.
